Reviews from Atlanta homeowners, in their own words

Every review on this page was written on Google by somebody who paid us to do a job. None of it was collected on our own website, none of it is edited, and each one carries a link straight back to where you can read it yourself.

What homeowners wrote

Eight reviews, and exactly where each one came from

Five come straight from our Google Business Profile, newest first, and we do not choose which five Google hands over. Three more are named reviews we already publish on our own site. Not one word of any of them was written by us, and the two groups are kept apart because only one of them is checkable by you.

Pulled from our Google Business Profile. Names, star ratings, dates and wording are exactly as the reviewer left them.

[the owner] from Indoor Experts did a great job on a difficult full replacement of my old and failing zoned HVAC system, including the indoor and outdoor units, new zoning dampers and motors, and new thermostats. He took care of every detail patiently and expertly and solved a longstanding issue with the system humidifier. The new system is doing great.

We called Indoor Experts Heating and Air after noticing water leaking from our attic air handler down through the wall.

[the owner] came out and was fantastic from start to finish. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had it fixed in about 30 minutes, and took the time to walk us through exactly what was going on and what he did to correct it. He also explained the warranty option clearly without any pressure, which we really appreciated. [the owner] was courteous, professional, and genuinely easy to work with.

We could not be happier with the service and will absolutely call Indoor Experts again. Highly recommend, and ask for [the owner] if you can.

I tried out this place because of the good reviews, and it was the right choice. My AC has not been working for a while. Last year, I had two different companies come out. One tried to hard sell me on a completely new system, the other gave up after an hour or two of diagnosis.

[the owner] came out and fixed my system in what felt like no time. He found and fixed two mistakes made by previous technicians, and now my AC is finally working again. I was prepared to have to buy a whole new system, but he absolutely saved me.

Not only is he technically excellent, but he was incredibly professional the entire time as well. I'll be recommending him the whole company to anyone who has AC issues. Amazing work.

[the owner] knows his stuff and was great to work with. Tracy was good at scheduling and much faster than the outsourced [phone desks] of the big shops. I called as a new client and [the owner] came out same day - he replaced a part and fixed the wiring. Had us back up and running easily. I've been a big fan of Trane products for the last 20 years and I've now found my new Trane tech specialist here in Atlanta. Thanks!

I recently had preventive maintenance done on my HVAC system by Indoor Experts Heating and Air Conditioning, and I’m very impressed with the service. The technicians, [the owner] and Malcoln, were professional, efficient, and thorough from start to finish. They checked all my thermostats and fully inspected the HVAC unit, giving everything a solid thumbs up.

They also made a helpful recommendation to flush the system and provided a fair, reasonable quote—no pressure, just good information. I signed up for their seasonal maintenance package, which includes summer and winter visits, and it comes with a nice discount.

Overall, a smooth and positive experience. Highly recommend their services!

Indoor Experts were prompt and responsive. I had a particularly challenging furnace issue. They came out multiple times without a problem and diagnosed the issue until it was resolved. Special thanks to Johnathan and Roosevelt for their diligence in addressing our issue.

Amazing!! Same day service. Gave updates regarding delays which is so considerate. They fixed an issue quickly. Was transparent early on regarding prices. Didn't feel that I was being upcharged. Hopefully never issues with my HVAC but if I do they are who I'm calling.

Working with [the owner] was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, professional, and fair. He communicated well, and the whole experience was as smooth as I could hope for. Highly recommend.

The pattern

Three things homeowners keep writing about

Read the five from Google and the same three things come up. Each one below is quoted from a review on this page, so you can check the source rather than take the summary.

Diagnosis

A second opinion that found the actual fault

One of the five came to us after two other companies had been out, one pushing a replacement and one giving up mid-diagnosis. A second describes a longstanding fault finally sorted out. Both systems were repairable.

In their words“He found and fixed two mistakes made by previous technicians, and now my AC is finally working again. I was prepared to have to buy a whole new system, but he absolutely saved me.”Saul Silver

Explanation

Being told what was wrong and what was done

Two of the five describe being walked through the fault and the fix while the work was happening. That is the job rather than a courtesy, and it is the part a homeowner can judge for themselves.

In their words“He quickly diagnosed the problem, had it fixed in about 30 minutes, and took the time to walk us through exactly what was going on and what he did to correct it.”Lamar Torrence

Pricing

A number, and no push to spend more

Three of the five bring up cost or an upsell, and not one of them describes being pushed. What they describe is a figure they could say yes or no to, including on the job where saying no saved a whole system.

In their words“They also made a helpful recommendation to flush the system and provided a fair, reasonable quote—no pressure, just good information.”Brian Lawson

The jobs

What the work behind these reviews actually was

Reviews are easier to weigh when you know what was being done. Here is the job each one describes, and where to read what that work involves.

All cooling services

Full system replacement

Michael Wakefield's job was an old zoned system taken out and replaced, indoor and outdoor units, new zoning dampers and motors and new thermostats, with a long-standing humidifier fault sorted out at the same time. Zoning systems and whole-home humidifiers both have their own pages.

Attic air handler leak

Lamar Torrence noticed water coming out of the attic air handler and running down inside a wall. That is a drainage fault rather than a cooling fault, and it is one of the few problems worth ringing about the same day before the ceiling takes the damage.

Repair after a second opinion

Saul Silver had already had two companies out, one pushing a whole new system and one that gave up part way through the diagnosis. The repair visit came with a written price before any work began, and finding that a system can be saved is a normal outcome of it.

Same-day part and wiring

Charles Rierson called as a new customer and was seen the same day, with a part replaced and the wiring corrected on that visit. He is also a long-time Trane owner, which is what our Trane Comfort Specialist work exists for.

Preventive maintenance

Brian Lawson had a full inspection, thermostats checked and a flush quoted rather than sold, then took the seasonal plan that covers a summer and a winter visit. Two visits a year is what a maintenance agreement is for.

Four places to read about us that we do not control

A reviews page written by the company is worth exactly as much as the sources behind it. These are the four public profiles where our work is on record, and none of them let us delete a review we dislike.

01

Google Business Profile google.com

The main one, and the source of the five reviews above and of the average at the top of this page. Sorted by most recent it shows the current state of the business rather than its best week.

02

Yelp yelp.com

Yelp applies its own filter to which reviews it displays and we have no say in it. Worth reading precisely for that reason.

03

Better Business Bureau bbb.org

Accredited A+ since 2019. The BBB profile also carries any complaint filed against us and how it was resolved, which a star rating on its own will never tell you.

04

Facebook facebook.com

Where the day-to-day gets posted. Useful for seeing the work as it happens rather than only after the fact, and it is the one profile here that shows what a week actually looks like.

Already worked with us

Leave a review, good or bad

Reviews are how the next homeowner on your street decides who to let into the house. If we have been out to yours, three minutes of your time is worth more to us than anything we could write about ourselves.

01

Say what the job was

Repair, replacement, maintenance or an air-quality visit. It is the single most useful line for the person reading, because it tells them whether your experience is anything like the one they are about to have.

02

Name the technician

Every technician is on our payroll, so a name in a review lands with the person who earned it.

03

Say what could have gone better

A glowing review with one honest criticism in it is more use to us than a perfect one, and more believable to everybody else.

Something went wrong on the job?

Call the office on (404) 913-5802 and ask for the owner. He owns the company and answers for the work, so the conversation does not have to go through anybody else first.

Questions about the reviews

What people ask about this page

Fair questions to ask of any company showing you its own reviews.

01Are these reviews real?
Yes, and you do not have to take our word for it. Each of the five carries a link to that exact review on Google, under the reviewer's own account. The names, star ratings, dates and wording on this page are reproduced from what Google holds, which is also why the punctuation is not uniform.
02Do you only show the good ones?
These five are the ones Google returns for our profile. We display them in date order, newest first, and we do not choose which five appear. The average at the top of the page counts every review on the profile rather than only these, and the link under the list goes to all of them.
03Why only five from Google?
Because five is what Google's interface hands a website. There is no way to pull the whole set onto a page of our own, which is why the count and the average are quoted and every link goes back to the profile itself. The three underneath them are named reviews we publish on this site, kept in their own group because they carry no link out. If you want to read the rest, read them where they were written.
04How is your Google rating worked out?
It is the mean of every star rating left on our Google Business Profile, calculated by Google rather than by us, and it moves whenever somebody adds a review. The figure shown at the top of this page comes from the profile. Google's own listing is the authority if the two ever disagree.
05Who turns up if I book after reading these?
The owner, or one of the technicians he trained and put on our payroll. Nothing is subcontracted, which is why the same names keep appearing in the reviews above. That is also why we say often same-day rather than promising a van within the hour.
