01Will a smart thermostat fix uneven floors?
Not by itself. Remote sensors let it read more rooms, but no thermostat can deliver air the duct is not carrying to the top floor.
02Does a large Buckhead house need two systems?
Sometimes. Two systems hold the floors closer together and cost more to own. A room-by-room measurement decides it, never the square footage.
03Is a dual fuel system worth it here?
In Atlanta, often. The heat pump covers cool weather cheaply and the gas furnace takes over below roughly 35 to 40 degrees.
04How do you decide what size system fits?
We measure the house room by room instead of pricing off square footage. That load calculation often comes out smaller than the old rule of thumb.
05Can you add zoning to my existing system?
Usually. Dampers in the duct plus a thermostat on each floor let every level call for cooling on its own, using the same outdoor unit.
